Trempealeau County records third COVID-19 death

WHITEHALL, Wis. (WKBT) —Trempealeau County has logged its third COVID-19 death after a hospitalized resident died from complications, the county health department said.
The department declined to release additional information in order to protect the family’s privacy.
Out of 1,039 total cases in the county, five patients have been hospitalized. The county has 181 active cases, while 855 people have recovered.
The county, which reported 26 new cases Wednesday, updates figures daily on its Facebook page  when the daily case rate is above 10.
