Trempealeau County Sheriff: body located in the truck of Arcadia-Glencoe fire chief in Sawyer County
Authorities are still determining the identity of the body
HAYWARD, Wis. (WKBT) – The Trempealeau County Sheriff’s Office says in a news release that authorities in Sawyer County located a body in the truck driven by Arcadia-Glencoe fire chief Jeff Halvorsen at approximately 2:15 p.m. Sunday.
Trempealeau County Sheriff Brett Semingson says crews from the Sawyer County Sheriff’s Office located the body in a remote wooded area near Hayward, Wisconsin.
Authorities are still determining the identity of the body.
Foul play is not believed to be suspected.

Halvorsen was last seen Wednesday night driving his 2020 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup truck in Arcadia.
