Trick or Treating began Saturday in Downtown La Crosse
Over 50 businesses handed out candy, dressed up
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — While we begin setting up for Christmas time, Halloween is still right around the corner.
That has area businesses celebrating a week early.
Organizers say it’s something business owners love to do, and that it’s a great way to show appreciation for the downtown community.
“Really it’s about enjoying the community and having the kids and the families come downtown. Just another way that we show downtown is about everything. It’s where you want to come to live, to shop, to eat. to play and to just enjoy city,” said Downtown Mainstreeet Director Robin Moses.
This weekend over 50 downtown businesses were handing out candy to families dressing up in Halloween costumes.
