Trooper arrested off-duty for drunken driving

SHOREWOOD, Minn. (AP) — A Minnesota state trooper is arrested off-duty for drunken driving.

Police say the 30-year-old trooper was pulled over on Highway 7 around 11:30 p.m. Saturday in Shorewood. He was booked into the Hennepin County Jail on two gross misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated.

KARE-TV says the trooper posted $3,000 bond and has a court appearance Nov. 22.
