Turned Leaf Festival offers alcohol-free alternative to Oktoberfest

LA CROSSE, WI — Oktoberfest is not the only place to find a good time this weekend.

The 32nd annual Turned Leaf Festival is offering an alcohol-free alternative to Oktoberfest.

Anyone looking to have a sober weekend can head to Myrick park for an assortment of activities.  

There’s food, games and live music running all day long.

Organizers said the alcohol-free area is great place for anyone in recovery or anyone looking to have a sober but fun Oktoberfest experience

“It’s an event for people in recovery and other individuals who don’t want to be around the atmosphere that Oktoberfest can bring with the drinking and partying. It’s family oriented and lots of fun for everybody,” said Assistant Director Laurie Lautz.

The festival ran until 11 p.m. Saturday.
