Twins born in different years at Minnesota hospital
MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — A set of twins has been born in different years at a Minneapolis hospital.
WCCO-TV reports one twin arrived in 2011 — and the other in 2012.
Officials at Hennepin County Medical Center say the mother gave birth to a son at 6:40 p.m. on New Year’s Eve. Nearly six hours later, she delivered his twin sister at 12:26 a.m. on New Year’s Day.
As a result of being born on different days, the twins won’t share the same birthday.
