Two men charged with attempted armed robbery
Tiedman, Erickson attempted to rob a woman at knifepoint
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Two men are facing charges after attempting to rob a woman with a knife in downtown La Crosse.
Daniel Tiedman , 25, and Wylie Erickson, 18, are charged with one count of attempted armed robbery with threat of force.
The criminal complaint says Tiedman and Erickson pulled a knife on a woman near 3rd and Vine Street in La Crosse around 10 p.m. Saturday night. The woman was able to walk away and called 911 after pointing out security cameras at the jail nearby. The two men were identified on camera and later picked up on State Street.
If convicted both men could spend up to 20 years in prison or face a $50,000 fine.
