Two Milwaukee men charged with felony murder

MILWAUKEE (AP) — Two Milwaukee men are charged with felony murder in the shooting death of another man during a burglary.

Rowlando Davis and Jorge Martinez, both 24, were charged in Milwaukee County as a party to a crime in the Dec. 5 death of Andrew Tyler in a Milwaukee duplex.

According to the criminal complaint filed Friday, Martinez claimed he was a member of a rap group and had purchased music from Tyler for $450 and other items but he didn’t like the music. So Martinez said he went to Tyler to get “get what was” his.

The complaint says Davis blamed Martinez for shooting Tyler but Martinez said someone else did.

Messages left for their attorneys Tuesday were not immediately returned.

A Jan. 9 preliminary hearing is scheduled for both men.
