Two suspects arrested for alleged theft, property damage at area car washes
TOMAH, Wis. (WKBT)
Two people are under arrest for allegedly stealing from area car washes.
41-year-old Kyle B. Kuchenmeister and 39-year-old Danielle E. Minea both of Rochester were arrested early Sunday morning in Tomah.
The theft investigation started in November when police in Tomah investigated a damaged car wash token box.
On Saturday, the police received another report of damage to property and theft from a separate car wash.
Using surveillance video, authorities said they were able to find the two suspects. The Tomah Police Department said in a press release that tools used during the crimes were observed in plain view when an officer confronted the suspects. Both Kuchenmeister and Minea were arrested and interviewed.
The two allegedly targeted car washes in Minnesota, Iowa, and Wisconsin. Police said this is an ongoing investigation that may involve numerous other jurisdictions.
Anyone with information about these two, or similar crimes, can contact the City of Tomah Police Department at 608-374-7400.
