University of Wisconsin sees decrease in enrollment

Enrollment at the University of Wisconsin dropped 2.6% compared to last year.

On Thursday the University released the Preliminary enrollment for the 2019 academic year.

They announced that there are 167,000 students enrolled.

That’s down almost 4,500 students from last year.

Enrollment on the Madison campus was up 2%, or 879 students.

La Crosse, UW-Green Bay, Parkside and Superior all saw an increase in enrollment as well.
