Unseasonably Cool Temps Tonight -Bill Graul
More Seasonable Again By Wednesday
Tonight’s Forecast Low: 49F / Tuesday’s Forecast High: 79F…
Today marked the 2nd day in a row with a BELOW average high temp in La Crosse. In fact, many spots did not even escape the 60s for afternoon highs! Along with the cooler temps, it was a breezy Monday with NW winds 10-20 mph and gusts around 30-35 mph in some areas.
Partly cloudy tonight and unseasonably cool, with decreasing winds. Overnight lows will be in the 40s for most, but traditional cool spots to the north/east may see temps dip into the upper 30s! You might want an extra blanket on the bed if you plan to sleep with the windows open tonight… just in case. By the way, the average low in La Crosse this time of year is 62F.
Tuesday will be a bit warmer, making for a very pleasant day with highs in the mid-upper 70s… along with low humidity. There’s a very small chance for a shower in spots Tuesday night into Wednesday morning… especially south. Otherwise, more seasonable again by Wednesday with highs back in the low-mid 80s.
Looking Ahead… Seasonably warm and more humid Thursday and Friday, with highs in the low-mid 80s. With the increase in humidity will come the chance for scattered showers and t-storms both days, especially during prime heating of the afternoon and evening hours.
As of now, just small chances for isolated t-showers over next weekend. Temps will remain seasonable, with highs in the low-mid 80s. Next Monday is looking dry right now, with just isolated t-showers possible next Tuesday.
Have a good night! -Bill Graul
