Unseasonably Mild Start to November -Bill Graul
Finally Some Rain Chances Later This Week
WHAT WE’RE TRACKING:
Unseasonably mild air that will be in place across the region for the first 3 days of November. Expect highs ranging from the mid 60s to low-mid 70s Tuesday through Thursday, more typical of temps we’d see in late September. Keep in mind average highs are in the low-mid 50s.
PLANING YOUR NEXT 24 HOURS:
Temps tonight will be seasonably cool with lows in the 30s to near 40F. Expect clear to partly cloudy skies and perhaps some isolated patches of fog late tonight into early Tuesday morning, mainly in the Wisconsin River valley. Lots of sunshine and warm for Tuesday with highs in the 65-72F range.
FINALLY SOME RAIN CHANCES LATER THIS WEEK:
Still dry and warm Wednesday and Thursday… rather breezy as well. Skies will be partly cloudy Wednesday, then clouds will increase Thursday in advance of a storm system that will bring some much-needed rain chances to the region. Chance of showers Thursday night, then periods of rain are a decent bet for Friday and Saturday. Lingering showers are possible on Sunday as well. Temps will be cooler Friday through the weekend, with highs in the 50s to near 60F.
Breezy and more seasonable next Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the low-mid 50s. Monday looks dry at this time, with a slight chance of showers next Tuesday. Have a great Monday night and Happy Halloween! -Meteorologist Bill Growwwwl
