UPDATE: Body identified in La Crosse Police death investigation
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The La Crosse Police Department is investigating the death of a man whose body was found in an alley early Friday morning.
Police say they received a report of a man lying in the alley off of 400 Ferry Street around 4:23 a.m. Friday.
Officers located an unresponsive man with no pulse lying face down. The man was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man has been identified as 37-year-old Jordan A Valentino of Black River Falls.
Police say there were no obvious signs of trauma to the body and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the cause of death.
