UPDATE: La Crosse Police identify victim in weekend homicide
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The victim of a weekend shooting on La Crosse’s north side has been identified.
La Crosse police said Javier R. Hall (Ayers), 18, of La Crosse died as a result of the Saturday night shooting.
On November 2 at approximately 9:40 p.m. La Crosse Police were called to the 900 block of Copeland Avenue for a report of a shooting. Police found Hall in an alley suffering from a gunshot wound. The individual was taken to a local hospital where the victim later died, according to La Crosse Police.
