UPDATE: Train vs. truck crash in La Crescent
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) — Emergency crews responded to a truck verse train crash just after noon Wednesday in La Crescent.
Amtrak says no one on the train was injured.
UPDATE July 5:
According to the La Crescent Police Department, two people from the truck, who were conscious and alert, were sent to a local hospital for treatment.
The investigation is being handled by Canadian Pacific and no citations or arrests will be issued, according to La Crescent Chief of Police Doug Stavenau.
