UPDATE: Two arrested in West Salem stabbing

WEST SALEM, Wis. — Two people are arrested following a domestic incident that led to a stabbing Wednesday morning near West Salem.

The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department responded to N5014 Briarcliffe Court off of Highway 16 at around 8:00 a.m.

Investigators say deputies found a man with stab wounds and a woman with a broken jaw, but neither would provide information on what happened. Deputies also found cocaine at the home.

Tri-State Ambulance says they transported both people to a local hospital for treatment.

The sheriff’s department says the man faces possible drug-related charges and domestic battery charges.

The woman is being held in the La Crosse County Jail on possible aggravated batter charges, along with a warrant and a probation hold.

WEST SALEM, Wis. — The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department is investigating an apparent stabbing in the Town of Hamilton just outside of West Salem.

The incident was reported at around 8:00 a.m. Wednesday on Briarcliffe Court off of Highway 16 west of West Salem.

The La Crosse County Sheriff’s Department and Tri-State responded to the scene. 

Tri-State tells News 8 they transported one victim with life-threatening injuries, and another person with non-life threatening injuries to a local hospital.
