UW-L students, staff to share their idea of compassion

Special campus exhibit on Friday, May 2 4-6 p.m.

UW-La Crosse students, staff and faculty will share their idea of compassion during a special campus exhibit on Friday, May 2.

More than 500 canvasses will be on display at the Port ‘O Call, Cartwright Center-Gunning Addition from 4- 6 p.m. A short program featuring project collaborators, organizers and participants will begin at 4:30 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.

After the reception, the panels will travel to a variey of campus sites.

The Compassion Project is a community collaboration with the La Crosse Public Education Foundation, the School District of La Crosse and the Pump House Regional Arts Center.

About 6,000 pieces of artwork from students in the School District of La Crosse will be on display at the Pump House May 2 through June 28. The event is free and open to the public.
