UW-L students strip down and go nearly naked for good cause

LA CROSSE, Wis. — Some UW-La Crosse students stripped down for the fifth annual “Nearly Naked’ race Thursday night on campus.  It’s not just for fun, runners also donate clothes which go to a local women’s shelter.

They also raise money which goes to the “Brick by Brick” campaign to help build schools in Africa.

Last year, there were almost 800 nearly naked runners and they raised around $3,500 and more than 2,000 articles of clothing.
