UW-La Crosse Baseball drops doubleheader to No. 11 UW-Whitewater

No. 11 UW-Whitewater Baseball defeated UW-La Crosse in both games of a Friday afternoon doubleheader at Copeland Park.

The Warhawks took the first game 9-5, having scored six runs in the fourth inning to break the game open. UWL’s Jonathan Wizner delivered a three-run home run in the sixth to make the score 8-4 at that point, but the comeback effort ceased afterward.

The Eagles then lost the second game 7-3.
