UW-La Crosse enrollment shows no sign of slowing down
Enrollment for Fall 2021 expected to be similar to Fall of 2020
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- UW-La Crosse says enrollment will likely stay steady for the fall semester.
UWL, like many universities across the United States, faced enrollment changes during the pandemic.
Enrollment is on track to meet the goal of 2,150 freshman students. That is similar to enrollment this past fall.
School leaders say with more of a traditional semester coming up, things are returning to normal.
Corey Sjoquist, UWL Director of Admissions, said, “There’s a lot of excitement and energy building on campus, especially for the fall semester. A return to in-person classes and activities and we know that is something important to the student and families.”
UWL is also working with students who left school to help them re-enroll.
