UW-La Crosse women tip off Thanksgiving Classic with close win

UW-La Crosse women’s basketball tipped off the Gundersen Hotel & Suits Thanksgiving Classic with a 58-55 win over Edgewood Friday afternoon at Mitchell Hall Gymnasium.

The Eagles played from behind most of the contest until they outscored the visitors 17-8 in the fourth quarter.

UWL improves to 5-1 on the season.
