UW-La Crosse WR Spieker named semifinalist for Gagliardi Trophy

UW-La Crosse wide receiver Cole Spieker is one of 12 semifinalists for the Gagliardi Trophy, which is given to the most outstanding player in D3. He caught 83 passes for over 1,200 yards this season.

Spieker is the second UWL player in the last three years to be named a semifinalist. Wide receiver Nick Holcomb in 2017 was the last Eagle to be a finalist for the award.

The four finalists are announced on Dec. 12.
