UW System hosts first community listening session at UW-L
The event will be held on Sept. 1
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The University of Wisconsin System is hitting the road hoping to get input from people across our state. The UW System is holding listening sessions over the next several months. Community, legislative, business and other leaders are invited to share their thoughts on the needs of Wisconsin and their expectations for the UW System. The first visit will be held on Sept.1, at the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse. Two listening sessions will take place.
“The first one will be open to people from the healthcare industry and people that are interested in that aspect of the Wisconsin economy invitations have gone out for that, the second session is a general session,” said Chancellor Joe Gow.
The sessions continue on Sept. 15 at UW-Green Bay, Sept. 23 at UW-Platteville, Oct. 1 at UW-Oshkosh, Oct. 13 at UW-Superior, Oct. 14 at UW-Eau Claire, Oct. 21 at UW-Parkside, Oct. 22 at UW-Madison, and Oct. 28 at UW-Milwaukee.
