UWL is asking for donations to its food pantry
The parking lot will be staffed from 10 AM to 4 PM
LA CROSSE, Wis (WKBT) – After a successful donation drive at the beginning of the pandemic, UW-La Crosse is again asking for the communities help.
UWL is hosting a donation drive for its campus food pantry this Tuesday through Thursday.
Members of the campus and the community can bring non-perishable food items or monetary donations to the Whitney Center parking lot, on the corner of Badger and 14th streets.
The parking lot will be staffed from 10 AM to 4 PM.
During the initial drive in the spring the pantry received nearly four thousand food items and more than 16 hundred dollars in monetary donations.
The pantry is asking for canned goods and boxed meals, as well as personal care items such as soap, toothpaste, and toilet paper.
