UWL Softball drops game 1 of doubleheader

UW-La Crosse Softball fell short of a home win against UW-Whitewater Monday afternoon in La Crosse.

Despite scoring two runs in the sixth, game one of the doubleheader went to extras. The Warhawks then scored the go-ahead run in the top of the ninth, and the Eagles could answer in the bottom of the frame.

The loss dropped the Eagles to 9-9 on the season.
