UWL Women’s Soccer secures at-large bid for national tournament

UW-La Crosse women’s soccer has secured an at-large bid to the NCAA Division III national tournament after a 14-win season.

The Eagles awaited their fate Monday after falling in the WIAC Championship 2-1 to UW-Oshkosh, a match that gave the Titans an automatic bid to nationals.

UWL  will be in the national tournament for the fourth time in program history. Their first round match is either Nov. 13 or 14 against Wartburg (15-3-1). The match will be at St. Catherine University in Minnesota.

UNC Greensboro will host the semifinal and national championship rounds at UNCG Soccer Stadium in Greensboro, N.C., Dec. 3-4.
