Vaccine forum in Sparta

SPARTA, Wis. (WKBT) – The Monroe County Health Department will help people learn about the COVID-19 vaccine.

The free event starts at 3:30 p.m. at the VARC offices in Sparta.

Local health professionals will be on hand to answer questions regarding the vaccine.

The forum comes as about 39 percent of Monroe County reside

nts have received at least one dose of the vaccine, lagging behind the state’s almost 51 percent vaccination rate.
