Valley View Mall hosts ‘Santa Fest’
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — The return of winter weather has people heading to mall for warmer clothes and to do a little holiday shopping.
Valley View Mall hosted “Santa Fest” Saturday to celebrate the holiday season.
Kids were able to play games and, of course, take a picture with Santa Claus.
Laurie Cafe, marketing director for Valley View Mall, said the event is really about bringing people together.
“It’s always great just to see everybody come together as one. We’re one big huge family. We’re all together here. We’re all here to have a fun time so no matter what it is that you’re reason for being here or what it is that this holiday season means to you. We’re all together and it’s just so nice and warm and fuzzy when that happens,”
The mall said the warmer weather earlier this month has slowed the early start of the holiday season.
