Vera Geneva Wang, 90, of Cashton, WI, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Rolling Hills Rehab Center in Sparta, WI.

Vera Geneva Wang, 90, of Cashton, WI, passed away Thursday, February 27, 2020, at Rolling Hills Rehab Center in Sparta, WI. Vera was born November 29, 1929 to Ivan and Nora (Halverson) Hastings in Richland County, WI.

Vera had a soft spot for cats and her sweet dog. She had a sweet tooth for green candy slices and Little Debbie’s and she loved sharing them with the kids when they came to visit. She cherished all the times spent with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Vera is survived by her children, Bruce Ives, Marold (Betty Keleman) Ives, Pamela (Bobby) Kast and Candy Ives; brothers, James Hasting, David Hasting; a sister Patricia Jambois and Shelia (Roger) Gilman; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; along with other relatives and friends.

Vera was preceded in death by her parents, Nora and Ivan; former husband, Robert Ives; son, Mark Ives; husband, Wallace Wang; grandchildren, Kevin Jr, & Stacey Iverson, and Joshua Ives; step-children, Keith and Iris Wang; son-in-law, Larry LeClaire; brothers, Ervin and Robert Hasting, Johnny Halverson; sister, Hilda Carson; Father & Mother-in-law, Ray and Myrtle Wang; and brother-in-law, Florentine “Fat” Jambois.

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, March 4, 2020, 10:00 a.m. at Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Pastor Amanda Schultz Garcia will officiate. Burial will follow in the Immanuel Moen Cemetery. Family and friends are invited for visitation Tuesday, March 3, 2020, 4:00 – 7:00 PM at The Torkelson Funeral Home in Cashton. Visitation will also be held Wednesday, from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service.
