Viking fans confident going into playoffs
LA CRESCENT, Minn. (WKBT) Vikings fans crowded Schmitty’s Timeout Tavern in La Crescent on Saturday.
Minnesota took on the San Francisco 49ers in the Divisional round of the playoffs.
The winner goes on to the NFC Championship game against either the Packers or the Seahawks next Sunday.
The winner of that game heads to the Super Bowl.
Fans say they are confident after the Vikings upset the Saints in New Orleans last week.
“I think we’re gonna win, just because I’m confident. We played great last week, and I don’t think there’s any other way to look at it,” said Jamey Kloss.
Dennis Blanck said, “We’re from Rochester, so coming down here for the big game with some friends. And we’re celebrating with a good group of people down here today, so it should be fun. It should be a fun game.”
And Chris Kuhlmann said, “I’m feelin’ purple! We got this purple pride thing going on here. C’mon guys! Woo-hoo!”
Unfortunately for these fans, Vikings lost to the 49ers with the final score 27 to 10.
