Villanova, Virginia, Purdue top AP poll again
Villanova remained atop the latest AP Top 25 men’s basketball poll released Monday.
The 22-1 Wildcats are followed for the fourth-straight week by No. 2 Virginia (22-1) and No. 3 Purdue (23-2).
Michigan State (22-3) climbed one spot to No. 4, followed by No. 5 Xavier (21-3).
The rest of the top 10 consists of Cincinnati, Texas Tech, Auburn, Duke and Kansas.
The Arizona Wildcats fell out of the top 10 after losing 78-75 to Washington on Saturday night on a buzzer-beater by Huskies forward Dominic Green. The loss dropped the 19-5 Wildcats from No. 9 to No. 13 in the poll.
