Virgin Mary statue stolen from Winona County catholic church

WILSON, Minn. (WKBT) — Authorities in Winona County are asking for the public’s assistance in finding a stolen Virgin Mary statue. The piece of art was stolen sometime in the last week from a church near Wilson.

The statue is approximately three feet tall and made of solid concrete. It is valued between $400 to $500, according to the Winona County Sheriff’s Department.

Officials with the Immaculate Conception church are hoping for its return.
