Viterbo students move in this weekend
LA CROSSE, WI — La Crosse’s population will grow by more than 700 this weekend.
Viterbo University students living on campus move in this coming weekend.
Students hired as Resident Assistants and Peer Advisers have been training for the last two weeks. They’re prepared to handle emergency situations, develop a community among residents, and to show off the resources in the surrounding areas.
“We’re trying to help students at Viterbo get more involved in the La Crosse community so we’ve walked through Hood-Powell-Hamilton and Washburn neighborhoods to point out some of the resources they might utilize,” said Viterbo’s Director of Residence Life Vickie Umferth.
Freshman start moving in at 7:00 a.m. Friday. Returning students will come into town over the weekend.
