Viterbo volleyball outlasts Central Methodist to reach national quarterfinals

Viterbo volleyball outlasted Central Methodist in five sets Friday to advance to the NAIA quarterfinals.

The V-Hawks trailed 2-1 after three sets but stormed back to take the final two sets. Miah Garant led the comeback effort with a team-high 29 kills.

The V-Hawks next face Indiana Wesleyan at 6 p.m. in the quarterfinals.
