Volunteers combat winter clutter in La Crosse
Logan-Northside Neighborhood Association held 2nd annual Team Up to Clean Up
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Area residents gathered together to help combat some of that winter clutter.
The Logan-Northside Neighborhood Association held their second annual ‘Team Up to Clean Up’ spring cleaning event on Saturday.
Volunteers helped move and dispose of large items for residents that may not have been able to do so themselves. Dumpsters were available for disposal at the Trinity Lutheran Church this morning as well.
Event organizers say it’s also a good opportunity to develop the relationships between neighbors.
“We all are easy and quick, it’s easy for us to complain about our neighbors, but this is a chance to pitch in and do something about it and that’s kind of what we’re doing,” said Logan-Northside Neighborhood Association Chair Mark Mitchell.
About 25 volunteers showed up to help with the Spring cleaning on Saturday.
