Volunteers staff skate rentals at Chad Erickson Ice Rink in La Crosse

The rink also will be open every day without volunteers to assist

LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) – The Chad Erickson Ice Rink in Riverside Park offers free stake rentals on select days, thanks to volunteers.

Volunteers will be at the rink weekends through the end of February to help people get laced up and onto the ice.

It’s free to skate and so is the hot chocolate available at the rink.

Volunteer Days:

Saturday, Jan. 29th, noon to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Jan. 30th, noon to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 2nd, 4 p.m. tp 8 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 6th, noon to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 9th, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 12th, noon to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 13th, noon to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 16th, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 19th, noon to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 20th, noon to 9 p.m.

Wednesday, Feb. 23rd, 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 26th, noon to 9 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 27th, noon to 9 p.m.

The rink will also be open every day without volunteers to assist.
