Warm & Muggy Today, Chance Of Storms

Good Saturday to you! We had a cluster of showers and storms approach the area very early this morning. They weakened as they reached the News 8 Now viewing Area, but have provided some much needed rain. The chance of rain and thunderstorms will continue throughout the day, but there will still be plenty of dry time. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

Chance of showers and thunderstorms early tonight, and then becoming partly cloudy. Mild and muggy tonight with lows in the upper 60s.

Sunday will be another warm and humid day with highs flirting with 90 degrees. We could see a pop up shower or storm in the afternoon, as well.

Temperatures will get even warmer for the first half of the new workweek. Expect sunshine with highs in the upper 80s to low 90s Monday through Wednesday.

A cold front will bring a chance of showers and storms Thursday and Friday. Cooler air will filter in for next weekend.
