LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Wisconsin Rep. Loren Oldenburg debated Democratic challenger Josefine Jaynes at 9:30 a.m. Oct. 16 in advance of the Nov. 3 election, in which they are competing to represent the 96th Assembly District. The debate, sponsored by News 8 Now, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, WXOW, La Crosse Tribune and many others, aired live on the News 8 Now Facebook page, as well as News8000.com. The debate was moderated by UW-L political science professor Anthony Chergosky.
