Watch Live: Capitol police announce officer died during incident

WASHINGTON, D.C. (WKBT) — A U.S. Capitol police officer has died following an attack at the U.S. Capitol Friday, according to authorities.

Police say a man rammed a vehicle into the barricade, exited and pulled a knife while charging at officers. Two police officers were injured and the suspect was shot and killed. One of the officers succumbed to injuries at the hospital.
