LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Wisconsin Rep. Jill Billings (D-La Crosse) is debating Republican Jerome Gundersen in a

dvance of the Nov. 3 election, in which they are competing to represent the 95th Assembly District. The debate, sponsored by News 8 Now, University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, WXOW, La Crosse Tribune and many others, will air live on the News 8 Now Facebook page, as well as News8000.com. The debate will be moderated by UW-L political science professor Anthony Chergosky.

News 8 Now will host two other debates this week including:

• 94th Assembly District — Rep. Steve Doyle (Democrat) vs. Leroy Brown (Independent) vs. Kevin Hoyer (Republican) at 12:45 p.m. Wednesday
• 96th Assembly District — Rep. Loren Oldenburg (Republican) vs. Josefine Jaynes (Democrat) at 9:30 a.m. Friday.
