Water pressure may be down as city performs fire hydrant flushing
LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT)- The City of La Crosse will begin maintenance this week on some fire hydrants around the city.
Clean pipes are essential for clean, healthy water, so the City of La Crosse will begin a flushing program.
You may experience a decrease in water pressure, but the City of La Crosse says it shouldn’t last long.
During the flushing process, short-duration hydrant and crew noise, street flooding, and flashing vehicle safety lights can also be expected.
