LA CROSSE, Wis. (WKBT) — Inclement weather prompted the La Crosse Concert Band to move its free concert from Riverside Park to the Central High School Auditorium.

The concert, at 7 p.m. today (Wednesday, July 14), is free and will include a children’s march. The band also will connect donations for WAFER during the event.
Mark Lakmann will conduct the performance, with the theme of “Let the Music Sound!” Guest vocalist will be Lexie Lakmann, singing a couple of Gershwin tunes.

The best parking will be at the Green Bay Street entrance, but people using that route will need to take the stairs to second floor, because no elevator is available there. For those needing an accessible entrance, there is a drop-off and ramp on Travis Street closest to Losey Boulevard.
