Webcam shows progress on La Crosse’s new Northside Elementary
LA CROSSE, WI (WKBT) — There’s an easy way to keep an eye on the construction of La Crosse’s Northside Elementary School.
The district set up a camera to live stream the construction.
A school official says they saw this on some other projects and wanted to connect the public to their new $14.5 million building.
“When you can see the boom trucks coming and all the other construction equipment moving and 50-60 contractors on site sometimes at one time, it’s impressive the work that’s being done,” said the district’s Community Outreach Specialist Sue Peterson.
You can check out the camera for yourself on the School District of La Crosse’s website.
When construction is complete, the camera will be re-purposed as a security camera.
