West Salem Lions Club helps out area schools with school supplies
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT)- As school starts very soon for many students around the area, the West Salem Lions Club is making sure all the kids have supplies.
The West Salem Lions club is hosting their stuff the bus event where people can drop off old school supplies, new school supplies, or even money,
After the bus is stuffed, the Lions Club will distribute the supplies to all of the schools in West Salem.
The West Salem Lions Club says they are not picky when it comes to accepting donations, they’ll take almost anything.
“Anything in general, it will all be used and utilized, just whatever your kids may need at school. Those are somethings, backpacks, anything from paper, pencils, monetary donations are great because we can take that money and use it specifically for what the kids needs have,” said Lions Club member, Lance Aleckson.
The West Salem Lions Club says the schools addressed the need for school supplies and the Lions Club is trying to help in whatever way possible.
