Western Wisconsin Workforce Development hosts open houses

It’s Workplace Development Month and the Department of Workforce Development is hosting open houses around the state.
La Crosse Workforce Development Center got in on the action.
Area job seekers learned about resume and skill building Wednesday, but organizers say the best thing about job centers is that people can access this kind of help year-round.
“One of the benefits of connecting with job centers is [really] having the ability to connect with a number of different services, referrals to a lot of training and other things,” said Job Service Bureau Director Tasha Jenkins.
The La Crosse Workforce Development Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:00 A.M. to 4:30 P.M.
