Wild visitor roams the streets of West Salem
The black bear ran right down Leonard Street
WEST SALEM, Wis. (WKBT)- A wild visitor strolled through the streets of West Salem Tuesday evening.
Angie Hemker captured this video of the black bear on Leonard Street. Hemker tells News 8 Now she had just finished watering her plants when the bear ran through her yard. From there, the bear headed towards the downtown area. It was last seen heading east in the grass near the interstate.
If you see a bear in your neighborhood, law enforcement says keep your distance and give them a call.
