THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING…
* WHAT…Heavy snow. Dangerously cold wind chills possible.
Additional snow accumulations of 2 to 6 inches. Some blowing
and drifting snow for open, unsheltered areas. Dangerous wind
chills developing Tuesday into Thursday morning, with readings
from 40 to 60 below zero.
* WHERE…Portions of northeast Iowa and southeast Minnesota.
* WHEN…For the Winter Storm Warning, until 3 PM CST Monday.
For the Wind Chill Watch, from Tuesday morning through
Thursday morning.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS…Travel could be very difficult. The
hazardous conditions will impact the Monday morning commute.
Dangerously cold wind chills for midweek could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 5 minutes.

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
