Winona State SB

Winona State softball began its 2020 season by blasting eight home runs over two games and sweeping Grand View 8-0 and 8-4.

Rylee Stout hit four of the team’s eight total home runs.

Reigning NSIC Pitcher of the Year Jordyn Kleman pitched a five-inning shutout in game one.

The Warriors are coming off a 2019 regular season in which they went 30-0 in conference, the first undefeated regular season in Northern Sun history, and made an NCAA regional appearance.

The 18th-ranked Warriors return All-American pitchers Kleman and Liz Pautz, two of the best strikeout pitchers in the game, and most of their top-20 ranked offense is back at the dish.
