Winona woman dies in Hwy. 61 crash
WINONA (WKBT) — A Winona woman died Tuesday in a crash on Hwy. 61 in Winona County, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
Esther Viola Waas, 75, was driving a 2009 Toyota Corolla south on the highway when she hit an unoccupied vehicle stalled on the right shoulder. She lost control and went off the road to the right and rolled, according to the state patrol.
In addition to the state patrol, the Goodview Police Department, Winona County Sheriff’s Office, Minnesota City Fire Department, Winona Ambulance and Mayo One also responded.
