Wis. schools superintendent to take oath of office

MADISON, Wis. (AP) — Wisconsin’s schools superintendent is set to take the oath of office next week.

Tony Evers defeated Don Pridemore in April’s elections to win his second four-year term as superintendent. Wisconsin Supreme Court Justice Ann Walsh Bradley is scheduled to administer the oath of office at Robert M. La Follette High School in Madison on Monday.

The ceremony is set to get under way at 11 a.m. in the school auditorium. Evers is expected to deliver an inaugural address after he takes the oath.

Leah Lechleiter-Luke, Wisconsin’s 2010 high school teacher of the year, will be on hand to greet guests. Evers is expected to deliver an inaugural address after he takes the oath.
